27/04/2016
6:00 pm - 8:00 pm
The value of photography is in flux. Camera technology is now so cheap, pervasive and effortless that taking a photograph no longer holds an intrinsic value. This event explores the changing role of the photographer in society – as artist, activist and innovator. How do photographers carve a career and what impact do they have on people, places and our shared visual culture?
Panel discussion with:
Amak Mahmoodian
