Commissions with KWMC’s Making Space
Collaborate with KWMC to bring bespoke commissions to life. We particularly welcome creative, social or environmental justice commissions that align with KWMC’s mission.
We create anything from small products to large-scale installations featuring integrated tech. We’re experienced in working with a wide variety of materials, from sheet goods and FSC certified or reclaimed hardwoods through to custom recycled plastic materials, foam, cork, 3D moulding materials.
We can produce a wide range of items using our excellent digital fabrication equipment at KWMC (Leinster Avenue, BS4 2LU) and woodworking tools (shared with WeCanMake over at The Factory, BS4 1ET). Items we have created include:
- Furniture
- Signage
- Awards
- Branded merchandise (e.g. keyrings, coasters)
- Fabrication of set/stage build components
- Interactive art installations and museum exhibits
- High precision prototype components
- 3D models
We can work with you to develop new designs or bring existing files to life.

I have worked with [KWMC’s Making Space] to produce trophies for our Soil Association Certification Best of Organic Market (BOOM) Awards for many years now and I simply could not imagine going anywhere else. Sustainability is hugely important to us as an organisation and with their skills and creativity, they deliver each and every time. The trophies are constantly commented upon and highly praised and are genuinely treasured by our winners.
