We’re excited to be in partnership with Future Makers and artist Ben Parry on the ‘Plastic Pavilion’, which has been built outside KWMC in Knowle West, Bristol in Summer 2025!
The Pavilion will serve as a gathering space for conversations and workshops involving young people, residents, local businesses and creative practitioners. It’s unique architecture made of recycled plastic invites people to come together to talk about the impact of plastic in their everyday lives, share experiences, climate stories and environmental awareness relating to the plastic pollution crisis. These ‘plastic dialogues’ also connect community voice with the ongoing UN draft Plastics Treaty process, which will shape the future of plastics use.
Special thanks to support from Arts Council England, Bristol Water, and Bath Spa University, and to Elliot Coffin for supporting with construction.
