The Future Makers programme was a practical, hands-on and free course, funded by the West of England Combined Authority as part of the wider Digital Skills Investment Fund – find out more about other training opportunities made possible by the fund here.
Our participants, ranging from beginners to group members with an existing creative practice, learned to design and make 3D objects and structures to take the next step on their path to a career into a digital design role or further training.
In our three courses, we encouraged applicants from backgrounds currently underrepresented in the digital design, fabrication and construction industries. Bursaries were available to support attendance to assist with access, travel or childcare costs.
