We’ll reveal the design for a new community artwork to go up on Filwood Broadway in 2026, made with contributions from the Filwood in Motion Thursday Club participants and artist Dani Hale!
There will be delicious free food for all from businesses on The Broadway, a family-friendly activity, and an opportunity to explore podcasts, films and photos of past events. We’ll also share short films of the playful, theatrical and colourful events that have inhabited the street, including The Community Junket and Filwood on Broadway.
Anyone who’s curious to see what we’ve been up to is welcome – whether you’ve attended lots or none of our previous sessions.
What is Filwood in Motion?
As part of the £14.5 million regeneration of Filwood Broadway in Knowle West, artists-in-residence Rachael Clerke and Linzy Na Nakorn have been working on a year of collective making and street action produced by KWMC – including creative events, workshops, meals and spectacles!
