Join us for an exhibition showcasing our methods and approaches to citizen science campaigns
Sign up for a 2 hour workshop to learn more about our approach to Citizen Science to co-create meaningful citizen-led approaches to the climate and nature emergencies.
Key focus areas will include topics such as:
- Demonstrate research methods, which helps people to identify and connect with what matters to them, within a specific field of research.
- Examples of how to set up a process for Citizen Science projects, which demystify research, supporting participants to become confident co-researchers, develop their own research questions, evaluation techniques, reflexive practices and storytelling techniques.
- Share examples of how to think of research, which utilises tech which fit purpose, giving freedom for people to identify what they care about first and then co-creating solutions in the future that might include tech.
- Practical tips on how to engage with citizen scientists and attract a wider audience to build up local interest around your topic of research.
- Practical tools on how to support engagement with marginalised communities and ensure equity, diversity and inclusion principles are considered throughout the lifecycle of the research.
This workshop will be offered as a Hybrid workshop.
