The Factory’s making courses and workshops are designed to provide an easy and accessible introduction to our digital fabrication tools and workshop facilities.
We guide and support trainees through each step of the design and making process, whether they’re creating laser cut jewellery, Christmas decorations, pieces of furniture, or something else.
We also offer enterprise training to budding entrepreneurs and growth businesses.
Our monthly Sewing and Textiles Meet-up runs on the first Friday of each month between 10am and 12pm. Bring along some fabric and a project you’re working on, meet other sewers and textile enthusiasts and explore how you can use digital technology when you work with fabrics.
Our digital embroidery machine and knitting machine will be available to use, as well as four sewing machines. There’s no need to book.
Friday 6th September, Friday 4th October, Friday 1st November, Friday 6th December
