Our young people’s programme is for 10 – 18 year-olds. We offer a range of after-school groups, creative courses, work experience, training opportunities and holiday activities.

Youth Council
Join the KWMC Youth Council and make positive change in our community, through art and tech. Take part in discussions, social action campaigns and local decision making!

Work Experience
We are now open for applications for our Work Experience weeks. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for many young people, to learn skills in design, architecture, social justice, engineering, sustainability and more with our industry partners. Participants will also have an opportunity to work on live briefs at KWMC and The Factory. We have limited spaces so please sign up via our form as soon as possible.
Please note that we only have 24 spaces available, and we will be prioritizing young people who live locally, and who we believe will benefit from the Programme the most. Every young person must complete the application form. The dates that KWMC Work Experience is running are adhered to by the majority of our local schools. The application deadline is Monday the 26th of February 2024. The young people will find out if you have a confirmed space during the week commencing March 4th 2024. Once their space has been confirmed they will be given more information about the schedule of the week.

Arts Award
Arts Award is a recognised qualification, available to anyone under 25. If you’re interested in getting involved and completing the Arts Award alongside any of our programmes or would like to do it in your own time, but need an Arts Award Centre to support you, get in touch!
