Jump Studios is Knowle West Media Centre’s programme for 10 – 30 year olds. We offer a range of after-school groups, creative courses, work experience, training opportunities and holiday activities. We also get paid work for our Emerging Creatives via our Creative Agency Eight.
As our buildings Knowle West Media Centre (Leinster Avenue) and KWMC: The Factory (at Filwood Green Business Park) are currently closed due to the coronavirus / COVID-19 outbreak, we have moved some of our activity online.
We will be running virtual sessions from May 2020 which will mirror some of our usual ‘in person’ sessions – Control Alt Delete, Maker City and Creative Hub. If you would like more information about this please check out our socials (@JumpKWMC on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram) or contact Dot or Mike.
We have put together a list of resources that we use as part of our Jump Studios programme – you can find it at the end of this page. All of the applications are completely free to access or download! If you fancy some offline, creative activities there is also a list of activities without technology!
We will also be hosting Jump Studios hangouts, where we would love to reconnect with all of the young people that regularly attend our sessions. If that is you, please get in touch with Dot or Mike so we can let you know how to do this.
