Day 1: Thursday 4 July 10am – 3pm
Day 2: Friday 5 July 10am – 3pm
Facilitated by Christina Constantinou – MA Virtual Reality student and VR & VFX Games Tutor at Boom Satsuma
This two-day introductory workshop will give you the opportunity to explore the possibilities of Virtual Reality & Augmented Reality (VR/AR) technologies, as well as developing real-world skills in designing for virtual experiences. You will be able to experience different VR/AR applications and hear from a range of current Bristol-based immersive creators.
During this workshop you will also develop your own 3D virtual world using A-frame, a webVR framework, using HTML coding.
Lunch will be provided free of charge on both days, and we highly encourage all participants to remain at The Factory over the lunchtime break to meet and connect with each other and develop discussions around the workshop content and themes.
This workshop is free and open to participants and applicants of the ‘Making It’ training programme. You must be able to attend both workshop days.
Making It is part of the WIDJET programme delivered in partnership with the West of England Combined Authority.
