Performing dogs, dazzling singers, tap-dancing Brownies…spot the Knowle West stars in the first screenings of a new film made by Back to Back Theatre celebrating the talent and creativity of Bristol’s neighbourhoods, filmed in summer 2018.
The film, featuring over 140 local people, is part of We Are Bristol, a new project that brings together Bristol residents and international artists to create extraordinary artworks and events.
Join us at Filwood Community Centre, one of the filming locations, to celebrate Knowle West and wider Bristol – and see its residents on film!
We Are Bristol is co-produced by In Between Time, Up Our Street, Knowle West Media Centre, Ambition Lawrence Weston and UWE. Back to Back Theatre is a world leading contemporary theatre company from Australia co-created and performed by actors with learning disabilities.
