KWMC The Factory INSPIRE Talk: Tales of Care & Repair

06/10/2021
12:30 pm - 1:30 pm

Do you fix things for a living? Or like to make do and mend?

Come and share your stories of repair, from professional to DIY, and even failed attempts!

KWMC The Factory are partnering with Repair Acts (UWE) to bring together community members and local residents to share their knowledge and experience of repairing objects, from cars to clothes and furniture to footwear. We’ll be gathering stories of repair, and sharing views and ideas for a repair-centred declaration for Bristol and Knowle West, as part of an in-person workshop at The Factory on Friday 15th October.

We’d love you to join us and tell your stories – everyone is welcome, and no repair is too small! Ahead of the workshop, we’ll be live streaming an INSPIRE talk on Wednesday 6th October, with Teresa Dillon of Repair Acts introducing the project and talking about repair cultures and building repair-centred neighbourhoods
