6:00 pm - 9:00 pm
Location: Knowle West Media Centre, Leinster Avenue
Our Autumn / Winter exhibition explores the hidden heritage of Knowle West and marks 100 years since the first council estates were built in Bristol.
From its ‘Garden City’ ideals to its DIY culture, see Knowle West like you’ve never seen it before…Experience new artworks, hear local stories and explore almost 100 years of history, music, architecture and memory.
The interactive exhibition features commissioned work by artists Holly Beasley-Garrigan, George Lovesmith and Lukus Robbins, created in collaboration with Knowle West residents as part of 100 Years of Knowle West Style.
This event marks the conclusion of the ‘100 Years’ programme, which has been running since Spring 2019: join us for the preview evening and project celebration on 26 November and discover the culture, pastimes and people of Knowle West – and what it means to call it home.
This event includes the KWMC Annual General Meeting for 2019.
