KWMC The Factory are delighted to host this free advice session, delivered by guest speaker James Wheale, Creative Sector Lead for the Innovate UK EDGE team in the South West.
James’ remit is to help creative businesses innovate & grow through funded business support. He will be telling us all we need to know about the Creative Industries Fund: Fast Start Business Growth Pilot which offers £25,000, 100% funded innovation grants alongside a package of business support (closing date for applications to the fund is Wednesday 16th June at 11am).

“Right now there are £25K creative sector specific grants up for grabs that require no match funding and come with £5K worth of business support from myself and my colleagues on top. The grants are to help you get a new product to market that is innovative”.

KWMC have kindly given me some time to chat through what this grant is all about and answer some questions – this should help you understand a) am I eligible? b) is this for me? And c) what does a good application really look like?
The event will take the form of a live 30 minute Zoom presentation followed by time for questions and answers.
The anticipated total running time will be 1 hour.
