The Factory are thrilled to partner with NatWest to provide business support and skills training for women founded and led businesses in Bristol. A head of The Factory’s MADE/NatWest programme, coming September 2021, we are offering a series of activities and events alongside our existing MADE programming.
Are you a woman-led business and looking to boost your products and services on Instagram?
Connecting to audiences is vital for many independent businesses and makers, and millions are using social media like Instagram to reach their audiences. There are so many tools available on Instagram it can be difficult to know where to start or how to make the most impact.
Join the the Instagram for Business 101 session to learn about the essentials of creating an Instagram business account that communicates what you do with your target audience.
You’re going to learn about how to use Instagram in a clear and purposeful way. Being clear and keeping it simple and easy to use is the key to having an Instagram account that works.
The workshop will cover:
– Profile Bios that communicate what you do, how you can help people and how they can buy from you/ work with you
– Posting to the grid – how to get your audience’s attention looking at visuals and writing captions that spark conversations
– Hashtags & Keyword search
– An introduction to Instagram Stories & Reels
– Understanding Instagram insights
The session will be taught by Lou Chudley @spark_social on Instagram.
Our Instagram for Business workshop is funded through our partnership with NatWest, and delivered alongside our enterprise support programme, MADE in South Bristol. The workshop is open to everyone and would particularly welcome sign ups from self-identifying women from across Bristol running their own business.
The workshop is ideal for supporting for small businesses, makers and artists already using Instagram to promote their business, products or work. It is not suited to those who are new to Instagram.
