This half-day course has been developed specifically for people with some experience of social media who would like to improve their confidence and expand their skill base.
This interactive session will encourage you to reflect on the things your organisation shares – updates, chitchat, sales pitches – and help you to avoid some of the common pitfalls. As well as providing some guiding principles, the course will illustrate how enjoyable using social media can be!
During the course you’ll have the opportunity to reflect on your organisation’s current use of social media, explore new tools, and consider issues including safeguarding, how to respond to negative publicity, and how to build social media use into your organisation’s wider communications strategy.
Please note: you will need to come to the training with your organisation’s Twitter and Facebook log-in details (account e-mail address and password).
