Join the Filwood Fantastic team on ‘Fair Saturday’ to get creative and explore ideas for new furnishings for the main hall of Filwood Community Centre.
Try your hand at taster workshops including furniture upcycling, re-upholstery and pattern design, and have your say on what should be made for Filwood!
You’ll also have the chance to sign up to be part of a team of local people who will go on to co-design and make these furnishings later this year (on Tuesday 10 and Thursday 12 December, 1pm – 4.30pm) with the help of KWMC: The Factory.
Drop in to Filwood Community Centre between 11.30am and 2.30pm, and bring your friends and family!
*All ages welcome (under 16s must be supervised by an adult).

Filwood Fantastic is a creative programme run by Filwood Community Centre, that KWMC is delighted to be part of. Over three years, the programme will work with local residents to transform spaces in and around the Centre’s building, support people to develop their own creative projects, and help the community thrive by responding to local priorities in creative ways. Filwood Fantastic is supported by Creative Civic Change.
