Join KWMC, local ecologist Alex Morss and artist Tay Aziz this October for a series of wildlife walks around Knowle West, each with a different theme. Learn more about wildlife corridors, how to increase biodiversity and feel more connected with nature. All walks are free, but booking is essential. Children welcome accompanied by an adult.
Interested in the wildlife that emerges at night? Join local ecologist Alex Morss on an evening walk to learn more about the bats, owls, and hedgehogs that are active after dark. We’ll find out more about the effect our changing climate is having on creatures big and small, and how we can provide a helping hand to make life easier for the wildlife in our neighbourhoods.
There’ll be free snacks and a warm drink on arrival.
Please note:
There are no toilet facilities available.
The walk will take in uneven terrain and is not accessible to all – please call to discuss any access needs.
The walk meeting point will be outside Inns Court Family Centre.
This event is weather dependent, please ensure you provide a contact telephone number so we can let you know of any changes.
