Location: Knowle West Media Centre, Leinster Avenue, Bristol

The Commons Sense Test Space is open May – October 2018, Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm*

Digital sensors are all around us: every day things are ‘sensed’ by smart technologies.

But what data can and should be collected? Is it used for the common good or corporate gain?

Commons Sense is an interactive exhibition exploring sensors, data and ‘the commons’ made by artists Becca Rose and Pete Bennett, in collaboration with digital manufacturing space KWMC: The Factory.

We invite you to follow your senses on a journey into a world of ‘smart’ community action. Find out more about ‘citizen sensing’, be inspired by sensing projects from around the world and to find out how you could get involved…

Come along to one of our live events, suggest an activity / event you’d like to run, book a tour with our curator or use the Test Space to hold a community, data, citizen science, tech or other related meeting / workshop by contacting enquiries@kwmc.org.uk

*We advise that you call ahead to check the exhibition is open to the public as the studio is occasionally booked for other uses.
