Location: Knowle West Media Centre, Leinster Avenue
There’s more to a neighbourhood than bricks and tarmac. Join us as we explore wild edges, green shoots, and growing better connections with nature – locally and globally.
2 – 5pm: explore how to re-nature our neighbourhoods with biodiversity experts, landscape activists and front garden pioneers
5 – 6.30pm: shared meal
7 – 8pm: ‘How to Name a Tree’. An entertaining performance by artist Richard Layzell charting his recent ‘tree and waterfall travels’ around the world: visiting Australia (the Ghost Gum and the Moreton Bay Fig), South Korea (the Gingko) and Canada (the Trembling Aspen).
