Do you remember the Knowle West Mobile Tattoo Parlour? We invited local residents to upload photos and stories of their tattoos to make a website of Knowle West tattoos. Is your tattoo in there?

We’re looking back at the website with fresh eyes… and this time we’re working with the BDFI, artist Alice Stewart and Control Shift to explore what role artificial intelligence (AI) could play in the tattooing process! We’ll be playing with AI while asking: 

Would you let a machine design your tattoo? How would you feel if your tattoo was used to generate a new one? Maybe A.I is already more involved than we realise…
