Socially engaged facilitator with over 10 years’ experience specialising in working with young people. Clara is a reflective practice advocator and enjoys evaluating programmes just as much as the design and delivery. Passionate about accessibility in the arts, tech and digital sector and ensuring young people’s voices are amplified throughout the programmes at KWMC and beyond.
Clara co-delivers and co-designs programmes for the young people’s programme alongside the wonderful Jump Studios team and Head of young people and emerging creatives. Clara’s key role at KWMC is developing and delivering the Maker City Movement across Bristol. Clara oversees the day to day running of Jump Studios and isn’t afraid to get involved in other projects happening across the wider team and neighbourhood. A highlight from 2021 would have to be working with We Can Make on the “Making Together” project.
Clara studied community drama at LIPA as an undergrad and has recently completed her MA in professional practice and facilitation. Clara has always been obsessed with creativity being at the heart of learning and is always looking for innovative ways to engage young people in building their confidence and skill set whilst having a good time.
Clara is passionate about the arts, tech and digital media being at the heart of change-making and supporting young people to have their voices heard, dream big and have fun along the way. Clara supports the growth and development of the facilitation skills of the delivery team at KWMC; from sharing interactive evaluation techniques to getting the team to buzz around like a buzzy bee, Clara believes we never get too old to play!
