The 2011 Truth About Youth course, delivered with The Prince’s Trust, culminated in a photographic exhibition entitled “Shooting ‘Youth'”. Dr Shawn Sobers visited the exhibition and wrote a comprehensive review of the work of the ten young people involved.

‘Holding the Reins: Equality, Meaning and Cultural Capital‘ is an article by Roz Hall that examines a number of themes regarding relationships between participants, artists and galleries. It references two projects, ‘Futurology: The Black Country 2024‘, a project by artists Hewitt and Jordan, which took place in the West Midlands in 2004, and the KWMC project, devised with Suzanne Lacy, University of Local Knowledge.

Emily Pringle is the Head of Learning Practice and Research at Tate. In November 2017 Emily visited KWMC as part of an AHRC Leadership Fellowship interrogating how museum professionals undertake research as practitioners with others.
