New Job Opportunity: Knowle West Alliance – Administrative Coordinator

The Knowle West Alliance is a network of residents, groups and organisations in Knowle West, Bristol. Launched in 2019 we work together to achieve the best for the whole community. 

This is an enabling role, full of variety.  You will use your excellent administrative skills to co-ordinate specific projects as well as ensuring the day to day smooth running of the Alliance network; supporting effective collaboration with great systems and processes. 

The Knowle West Alliance (KWA) Working Group is made up of residents and local workers, together we have identified the following priority areas for 2022-24:

1.         Resident voice and influence

2.         Learning, skills and confidence building 

3.         Supporting and developing grassroots action

4.         Proactively address diversity and inclusion

5.         Work together to draw in additional opportunities, resources and support

Details

Hours: Part Time (three days per week) – flexible working

Contract: Three-year contract

Salary: £23,087 (pro rata)

Call out: ‘Future of the Network Co-designer’

We are looking for someone with a passion for co-creation and experience in supporting networks to grow and develop. This person will lead on a bespoke piece of work, ‘The Future of the Network’ to help co-design the future of the Co-Creating Change network (CCCN).

The Co-Creating Change Network was a national network of organisations, artists and grassroots organisations with social change at the heart of their work. The network ran programmes, supported commissions and advocated for a better understanding and appreciation of co-created practice both in the arts sector and beyond from 2018-2022. Co-creation has never felt more important, what might the next iteration of the network look and feel like?

Job Description:

You will work collaboratively with the Co-Creating Change core group members over a 6 month period to:

  • Determine the need for a next round of CCCN
  • Co-develop the vision for the next stage of CCCN
  • Define a structure for the next round of CCCN to meet the clear need
  • Set up meetings with existing funding partners and potential funders to “test the water”, build relationships and support 
  • Lead on a strategy for submitting funding bids for the next iteration of the CCCN

Fee: £6,000 with additional travel, accommodation and access budget
