Making Courses

The Factory’s making courses and workshops are designed to provide an easy and accessible introduction to our digital fabrication tools and workshop facilities.

We guide and support trainees through each step of the design and making process, whether they’re creating laser cut jewellery, Christmas decorations, pieces of furniture, or something else.

Here is a list of our upcoming courses:

MAKE IT: Homewares

10am – 2pm Wednesdays (September 13th, 20th & 27th)

Learn how to design and make homeware items such as coasters, clocks and bespoke ‘name frames’ using the laser cutting machines in our workshop and a free online software called Inkscape. Free course for attendees aged 16+ and living in South Bristol.

With Christmas just around the corner, join us to learn how to design and make Christmas cards, tree decorations and gifts using the laser cutting machines in our workshop and a free online software called Inkscape. Perfect for your friends and family, or to sell on your very own Christmas market stall. Free course for attendees aged 16+ and living in South Bristol.
