Laser Cutting

The Factory’s laser cutting bureau service is perfect for postgraduates, freelance designers and small creative businesses looking for access to a laser cutter to create beautiful digitally-fabricated products.

We have two laser cutters: an Epilog Fusion 32 M2 and a LaserPro X252. Both of our laser cutters can cut and engrave a range of materials including paper, card, leather, felt, laser grade plywood, and acrylic plastics. If you’d like to cut another material not specified above, please check with us in advance to make sure it’s suitable for laser cutting. We cannot laser cut PVC/Vinyl as this type of material emits toxic chlorine gas fumes when heated, which can damage the machine and your lungs.
