All of our programmes support people who have had the least opportunity to engage in creative activities that can change their lives and shape their communities.
Our young people’s programme ignites a spark of creativity, builds confidence and offers a powerful experience for young people so they are inspired and equipped to achieve their dreams.
“All the skills I’ve developed have really helped me to believe in myself, my decisions, and my opinions. I have discovered by own voice.” (Participant, Change Creators programme, 2016)
Our arts programme supports people from diverse backgrounds to create new tools, resources and opportunities that will bring about change, harnessing the combined potential of creativity and community to make exciting things happen.
“I enjoyed working with people from different backgrounds […] [It] was an interesting experience because we all brought something different to the discussion.” (Participant, Dampbusters project, 2016)
Our training space KWMC: The Factory enables people to learn new skills in making and business, giving them a better chance of finding future employment and ensuring that everyone can ‘make it’.
“[The Factory’s making techniques are] a little bit different from how I do them but it’s good to learn new ways and try blend them in with the old ways because you just never know where you may pick up another way of doing it […] Working here make a lot of difference to me.” (Volunteer, KWMC: The Factory, 2015)
