Jump Studios

Experiment with new technologies, develop your skills as a leader or media-maker, and enjoy being creative. Jump in!

Jump Studios is Knowle West Media Centre’s programme for 10 – 25 year olds.  We offer a range of after-school groups, creative courses, work experience, training opportunities and holiday activities.

Our after-school groups – Control Alt Delete and Creative Hub – are listed below; they run during term time and are listed below. Our new music programme will be launching soon which includes festival performance opportunities, an annual residential and supports artist development from beginner through to advanced.

Term Time Activities: Weekly

Mondays, 4.30-6pm, term time
Ages 10-16

Jump into technology! Explore new technologies such as robots, Virtual Reality, 3D printing, Microbits, drones and coding. 

Creative Hub
Wednesdays,  5-7pm, term time
Ages 10-19

Jump into creativity or music! Explore filmmaking, technology, gaming, animation and music as you develop your own creative projects and ideas. No experience needed.

Jump into…Puppet Making and create a short film – Tuesday 13th February, 10am-4pm (ages 10-16, free)
Jump presents…Pop Up Cinema – Wednesday 14th February, 1.30-4pm (under 18s free, ages 18+ £5)

February Half Term: girls in tech and Wonder Women!

Last week we ran another Product Design Course at our digital manufacturing space KWMC: The Factory, this time for young people aged 16+ who were interested in creating original products.
