Do you want to see homes built differently?
We Can Make is developing new ways of creating affordable homes that better meet the needs of communities. It has brought together Knowle West residents, artists, academics, architects and policy-makers.
Join us to celebrate the opening of the first We Can Make house: a straw-bale building designed by White Design and made in Knowle West. Explore this new locally made home and find out how it’s been built and how you could stay in it!
On Thursday 7th September and Friday 8th September we’ll be hosting a series of events at the first We Can Make Home – the TAM – which is located beside Filwood Community Centre on Barnstaple Road.
Housewarming Preview & Celebration BBQ: Thursday 7th September, 6.30–9.30pm
Talks & Tours: Friday 8th September, 1-6.30pm
The TAM will also be open at Knowle West Fest on Saturday 9th September between 11am – 3pm so you can drop in and see us then!
Spaces are limited for the Thursday housewarming and Friday tours and booking is essential: reserve your free place at wecanmakehousewarming.eventbrite.co.uk or call 0117 903 0444.
