Welcome to The Artist Hotel, Knowle West.
It doesn’t exist yet…But join artists, architects and makers, including David Saxby, Richard Layzell, Rachael Miles, Sam Halmarack and Hannah Clark, to explore how a community could manufacture and host its own Artist Hotel.
From a distributed network of curated spaces in people’s homes to a digitally fabricated habitat, the Ideas Camp will consider how resources (people, places and materials) could be remixed to prototype a new type of hotel that engages people, place and art. The day includes a curated walk, provocations, ‘charette’ style discussions, and hands-on rapid prototyping at The Factory – our new digital manufacturing space. And a free lunch!
You can book a place online or contact Melissa on 0117 903 0444 for more details
Meet at Knowle West Media Centre, Leinster Avenue, and finish at KWMC: The Factory.
