KWMC The Factory, Bristol, United Kingdom
10:00 am - 2:00 pm
Come and learn how to make laser cut objects and products for your home!
In August and September 2017, KWMC: The Factory will be running two free courses for people over the age of 16 who are living in South Bristol.
You’ll learn how to design and make homeware items such as coasters, clocks, personalised chopping boards and bespoke ‘name frames’ using the laser cutting machines in our workshop and a free online software called Inkscape*.
The first course will run every Thursday for three weeks, from 10am – 2pm, beginning on Thursday 3rd August followed by the 10th and 17th August. The second course will run every Wednesday for three weeks, beginning on Wednesday 13th September followed by the 20th and 27th September. Please select the date of the first session of your chosen course to sign up for the whole course.
You’ll need to be able to attend all three sessions of one of the two courses, and not have completed a free course with us previously. No experience is required, and we’ll provide all the materials!
For more details contact The Factory team on 0117 403 2306 or email@example.com.
The training has been funded by the NatWest Skills and Opportunities Fund.
